The giordano's
Pizza Legend

giordano's was born from an Italian family recipe, a mother's love, and the bold spirit of Chicago. What started as a single location on the South Side became America's most iconic deep dish pizza brand.

In 1974, Efren and Joseph Boglio opened the first Giordanos restaurant, bringing their mother Mama Giordano's stuffed pizza recipe from the Piedmont region of Italy to the heart of Chicago. The rich, buttery crust piled high with cheese and toppings was unlike anything the city had tasted before.

Word spread quickly. What began as a neighborhood gem became a destination for pizza lovers from around the world. Today, giordanos continues to honor that original recipe with the same dedication, quality, and craftsmanship that Mama Giordano instilled in her sons over five decades ago.
